P E R S O N A L / S E L F - P R O M OI In order to evolve as an artist, I felt that it was time to return to the basics ... To do this meant learning a new form of art expression. As my art developed, I re- learned to capture the moment I wished to express or paint. By digitally condensing and simplifying the image, and rebuilding it until it approximated the tone of what I visually felt when I envisioned it. As I developed a new clarity of expression in my work, I found myself with a new freedom and excitement to explore the dreams and views within me, visually speaking. So here I am! Working in a field of art that can be defined as still in the throes of evolution. Terms ranging from digital photography and digital painting, art, computer art, digital rendered art, or digital fine art. All have been used to define the process, and a Digital Artist is what I use to define myself. Put simply, I use a computer to produce fine art, occasionally from an electronic stylus, but mainly from original artwork. So I call myself a digital artist who uses electronic (digital) means to produce fine art. In the competitive field of art, it is so refreshing that I can once again do what I love .
